Snap-fitting hook of rectangular cross section with a constant decrease in thickness from h at the root to h/2 at the end of the hook should be used whenever possible to permit greater deformation and to save material

Find we Have to find the Friction coefficient (μ) from Table



Determination of mating force (W) = 


Select the value from below table 


Determination of mating force (W) =  32.5 x 1.8 = 58.5  Newton.
